AKA push bumpers or whatever else you wanna call 'em. Cops got 'em, others don't. I wanna put something over the grill for my '86 350 Suburban that'll make it through the inevitable traffic block if and when a doomsday scenario strikes my sun-scorched metropolis (Volcanos, terrorists, nuclear war, zombies). Also, I have a sort of reckoning that it'll make people think twice before cutting me off.
As if they already don't.
What kind of companies produce such a thing, and what sort of price range can I expect? Also, is this the sort of modification you'd need an auto shop for, or just a mechanically-minded friend with a few pro tools laying around?

your looking for a brush guard. they're arent too many that are made for your suburban. your probably better off building your own or having a metal shop make one for you.
if you get one thats made for your suburban then it will bolt right up and you shouldnt need any special tools (altho i'm not certain)
one company that you might want to check out is called ARB i believe you will find what you are looking for there. they tend to have the heavy duty brushguards.
